A domain in the complex plane is called a quadrature domain if it admits a global Schwarz reflection map. These domains have important connections with statistical physics, fluid dynamics, and diverse areas of analysis. This talk will explore dynamical systems generated by Schwarz reflection maps, illustrating how they naturally bridge holomorphic dynamics, reflection groups, and geometric function theory. We will also illustrate applications of this dynamical framework to problems of analytic and physical origin.
