The kinetic Fokker–Planck equation naturally arises as the linearization of the Landau equation in plasma physics. In this talk, we will discuss the optimal boundary regularity of solutions to kinetic Fokker–Planck equations. In particular, we present several fine regularity results for solutions under either diffuse reflection or prescribed in-flow boundary conditions. This talk is based on a joint work with Marvin Weidner (University of Bonn).
