We study the factoriality of a double cover X4 of P3 ramified along a nodal quartic surface, and we formulate natural conjecture which would answer this problem depending on the number r, 7< r < 11, of nodes of X4. We prove this conjecture when there is a nonsingular quadric surface containing all the nodes of X4.
