With non-slip boundary condition, the boundary layer equations are derived for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations depending on the orders of the viscosity and heat conductivity coefficients. In addition to the velocity layer governed by the Prandtl equations originally derived for the incompressible flow, thermal layer exists. Under the monotonicity condition on the tangential velocity field, local in time well-posedness of these systems are given.
