The volume of p-adic manifolds appears in many branches of number theory such as Weil conjecture on Tamagawa number 1, Kudla-Rapoport conjecture, Fundamental lemma, and so on.
In this talk, we will explain a description of the volume in terms of algebraic geometry, and then explain recent results in this context.
