We study recent improvements for the Bochner-Riesz conjecture in R^3, which was obtained by Shukun Wu. He basically used the broad-narrow argument of Bourgain and Guth and iterated polynomial partitioning. His novelty is the ‘backward algorithm’  to obtain a sharp bound for the broad function. In this talk, we will focus on obtaining the broad function estimate.
