In this thesis, we investigate a general class of elliptic equations with nonstandard growth conditions on nonsmooth domains.
We first establish an optimal global gradient estimate for a double phase problem.
Then we discuss a very weak solution to a quasilinear elliptic equation whose growth condition is described by a general convex Young function.
